Activity Play centres have evolved dramatically in the last decade. Today, children are enticed with bright colours and interactive play areas that offer physical fitness, fun and problem solving. They keep getting bigger and kids don’t complain!

At DayOut.ie, we’ve been to many throughout Ireland and we take notes at every one! Now there are those who will say they’re all doing the same thing? That is of course until we come across those play centres that offer a little something extra, something unique with that extra string to the bow.

Play Centres Cork

Billed as Europe’s largest indoor activity play centre. As play centres go, this is a big one! What struck us first about this one is that it’s immaculate and very well maintained. We’re not saying that others are not – they all are but just worthy to note given the traffic that all large play centres get every day – business owners are doing a great job to stay on top of the maintenance and clean up. We were staying at Blarney Golf Resort Lodges and visited Money Maze which is in Glanmire, about 20-30 minute drive. Well worth the visit.

Play Centres Dublin

Large spacious and bright play areas at 2 locations in Dublin – Dundrum and Clarehall. These people know a thing or two about play centres. let your little monkeys run wild with slides, swinging obstacles, ball pits and lots more…

Out Blanchardstown direction and just 5 minutes from the M50, you’ll find Go Kids Go which has lots going on – the Kids will want to go there (see what we did there!!). Java Republic fine coffee for the grown ups and lots of activities for the kids. There’s also Quasar to keep the teenagers happy which is always good!

Large play centre in Dublin located in Airside Retail Park Swords.

A new centre opened at te Marina in Malahide. Getting rave reviews fr their Summer camps, friendly, cleanliness and nice coffee! Malahide is a lovely coastal locations with shops, restaurants and outdoor areas. Make a day out of it!

Play Centres Mayo

A superb venue with beautifully crafted western style shop fronts provide a cowboy and cow girl themed play centre and party venue. Very aesthetically pleasing, bright colourful and complete with free parking and on site cafe ensure a great day out in Westport for all visitors.

Play Centres Westmeath

Located in Monksland, Athlone, away from heavy town centre traffic and just off the M6, this is a have a modern facility designed for a fun experience in safety. Each and every item of play equipment is designed and installed to ensure that each child that visits our centre will enjoy their time and want more.

Play Centres Wexford

Located just outside New Ross Co Wexford, Ross Adventure Play Barn is a superb facility offering play and adventure activities for kids up to 10yrs. Climbing obstacles, soft play areas, slides and lots more, kids will be spoilt for choice at this energetic centre. An ideal location for school tours, celebrations and birthday parties.
