Dreamland Fun Centre Limerick
Dreamland Fun Centre Limerick is the personal vision and lifelong dream of the Share A Dream Foundation founder, Shay Kinsella. That dream is now a reality. It is designed to reflect a child’s idea of a magical place, the kind they only find in story books or in their wonderful imagination.
Dreamland Fun Centre is a dream come true for disabled children all over Ireland because for the first time they can play alongside their siblings and friends. Dreamland is the first accessible, inclusive indoor fun centre where all children are equal and play together. Plus funds raised will allow disabled children to come for free and terminally ill children will have their fondest dream come true. Give a child some stainless steel pots and pans and watch in amazement as they reimagine them as a drum set, a flower pot or a car. Their imagination is limitless….
Kids and parents can slide down the magical slide together; shop in the supermarket; travel on the flight of dreams; become a fireman; have a makeover in the girls world; fix teddy bears in the Toy hospital; be a princess or prince in the castle of dreams; climb the magical tree of life; go under the sea; meet captain Jack sparrow in the pirates cove; meet the princesses in princess parlour; chill out in the beautiful sensory room and there is always work to be done in the construction site!
All children have a right to play and in Dreamland Fun Centre they will get the opportunity to play alongside their siblings and friends as we look for ability not disability. DayOut.ie is delighted to recommend Dreamland as one of our top days out in Limerick.
