Carmel and Joe are in the funeral parlour awaiting the arrival of “the relations” for Joe’s mother’s funeral. Joe is spitting tacks because they’ve discovered that their recently Trinity-graduated daughter has posted pictures of herself on the internet as the winner of a wet t-shirt competition from her holiday base in Australia.

But like a lot of men, Joe has different standards for men and for women. And the mayhem spits across the coffin where Mam’s corpse lies peacefully clutching her Rosary beads.

This is a tender and funny tale about our secret selves. Rich with the absurdities, hypocrisies and vulnerabilities that course through our lives, it playfully observes the search for connection in a fractured world.

Starring John Morgan as Joe, and Fionula Linehan (from ‘The Young Offenders’) as Carmel.

Lunchtime Tickets: €12.50 (includes Soup & Brown Bread, or Sandwich).
Lunch can only be guaranteed if booked before 12 noon on the day of the show.
*Lunch from 12.15pm. Show starts at 1.00pm.

Supper Theatre Tickets: €22.50 each or 2 tickets for €40.
Ticket price includes supper, glass of wine / soft drink, dessert and the show!
*Supper is served from 7.30pm followed by show starting at 9pm.

Show only option (lunchtime or evening): €10 per person.
