The Ilac Centre opened in 1981 and was the first shopping centre in Dublin’s city centre. It has a very special place in the hearts of Dubliners and is still very much a place where everyone can go and get fabulous fashions at affordable prices alongside brand names such as Debenhams, River Island and H&M.

The centre has undergone a €60m refurbishment in recent years and has been transformed into a bright and airy shopping venue all on one floor. Home to over 80 stores, the centre boasts over 28 fashion & accessory outlets, 11 homewares stores and 13 eateries from waiter service to self service and take aways.

The centre is home to the Central Library on the first floor with a small chapel underneath.
