The Irish National Heritage Park is located on the banks of the scenic River Slaney just 30 minutes from Rosslare Europort and approximately an hour from the historic cities of Waterford & Kilkenny.

What is it?

It’s a large outdoor museum, one of the regions major tourist attractions and a prominent feature along Ireland’s Ancient East.

Take an incredible journey through 9000 years of Ireland’s past… in this park which stretches over 35 acres of woodland, wetland, estuary and uplands you will visit the homesteads, places of rituals and learn about the burial rituals of our long vanished ancestors.The world you enter is an authentic recreation of Ireland’s heritage.

Take a guided tour of the park which caters for families, individuals or groups or explore the Park at your own pace.

Activities for kids include:

Savour traditional home cooked meals, light bites, desserts and teas & coffees at the award winning Fulacht Fiadh Restaurant.

Opening times:

The Park, restaurant and shop are open daily, all year around.

9.30am- 5.30pm: 1st September to 30th April (last admissions: 3pm)

9.30am- 6.30pm: 1st May to 31st August (last admissions: 5pm) 

As days out go, this is a day that has it all – outdoors, fun, history, heritage, food on site and even free parking.! Senior/student: €8.00

Family ticket: 2 adults and 1 child: €23

Family ticket: 2 adults and up to 3 children: €25

Children 4 years and under are free of charge
