Butlers Chocolates and Hendrick’s Gin Inspired Afternoon Tea

This Mother’s Day, The Morrison has teamed up with Butlers Chocolates and Hendrick’s Gin for a limited edition Mother’s Day Afternoon Tea. A stylish treat for mums this Mother’s Day, enjoy a three tiered serving tray packed with a new take on the traditional afternoon tea elements which looks much more at home in the chic surroundings of The Morrison!

Start on the middle tier with finger sandwiches of egg and watercress or smoked chicken and tarragon served on white bread and brioche buns. A spicy mix of peperonata and soft cheese is served on multigrain bread, while traditional brown soda bread carries generous servings of smoked salmon on a bed of crème fraîche, pickled fennel and cucumber. The lower tier carries mini fruit scones accompanied by pots of thick clotted cream & raspberry jam. 

The star of the show is the top tier with mini desserts including Butlers Chocolates! Enjoy a Butlers salted caramel mousse along with creamy swirled banoffees, complete with lime and mint pie and raspberry delights.

Choose from tea or coffee or why not try the Hendrick’s Leslie Gracie Cocktail. Hendrick’s Gin, Elderflower Liqueur, topped with soda water and cucumber served in a vintage inspired Hendrick’s tea set.

The Mother’s Day Afternoon Tea at The Morrison is available from Monday 16^th of March to Sunday 22^nd. Priced at €30 per person served with tea or the Morrison’s bespoke coffee, or served with the Hendrick’s Leslie Gracie Cocktail at €37.50 per person.
