The National Wax Museum has been a huge part of the Irish tourism landscape for nearly 40 years.

Originally situated in Granby Row, near Parnell Square in Dublin, the National Wax Museum Plus is now located in the heart of Dublin City on Westmoreland Street. Offering an exciting, fun and unique day out, providing entertainment for all members of the family.

The museum boasts many different areas to explore. Discover the wonders of science, get your picture taken beside famous faces – from the worlds of music, acting and sport (Father Ted might even make an appearance! Ah g’wan sure!) Travel to Hogwarts, Springfield and Bikini Bottom to pay a visit to your favourite TV & movie characters.

Travel back in time through the history of Ireland, from the Vikings to the Easter Rising to the men and women who secured peace in Northern Ireland. Enjoy a history lesson in Irish culture. Stand beside the people who have shaped this incredible country, as well as learning about the fascinating tales that are Irish mythology.

“ENTER IF YOU DARE”

Not for the faint of heart, the Chamber of Horrors is located in the basement of the museum. Feel the eerie atmosphere surrounding you as you travel through the chamber and pass by the creepy characters. Are you brave enough to make it through the entire chamber?

How about having your very own wax collectible too? Get your hand immortalised in wax and have it on display for everyone to see!

Tickets

It is recommended that you book your tickets online in order to guarantee a time slot. COVID restrictions mean that we are operating at a reduced capacity. Booking online also means a 5% discount! (Under 5’s are also free!)

Group Rates

The National Wax Museum offers a discount rate for groups of 10 or more. In compliance with government guidelines, groups may have to be split and given different time slots.
