Tayto Park latest attraction – ‘The Sky Glider’
Tayto Park – The Sky Glider
Tayto Park is excited to reveal the opening of its latest attraction, ‘The Sky Glider’. A first of its kind in Europe with two zip line tracks, the Sky Glider marks the newest attraction for kids and adults to enjoy at Ireland’s favourite theme park and zoo located in Ashbourne, Co. Meath, which opens today just in time as school breaks for the summer season.
Comprising of two purpose-built tracks, 120 and 124 metres in length and 23 metres in height, those looking for an adrenaline rush will reach speeds up to 40kmph on the latest zip line attraction. With multiple crossing points on each track line, visitors to the Sky Glider have the option of taking to the skies like a super hero and choosing from various harness options, including the superman or tandem harness types in addition to the standard seat option.
Taking in a bird’s eye view of Tayto Park, the Sky Glider is an attraction for both the kids and adults to enjoy, facilitating up to 100 guests per hour with a minimum height requirement of 1.2 metres. The Sky Glider is the latest in a line of new attractions opening at Tayto Park with ‘Lemur Woods’, Ireland largest lemur walkthrough and ‘Flight School’, Ireland’s first flight school attraction for kids opening earlier this year.
