Wildlands is a place for all ages, for thrill seekers and for those in the pursuit of serenity. Wildlands located just 10 minutes from Galway city, at the gateway to Connemara, set on over 20 acres of mature woodlands at Ballyquirke, Moycullen, County Galway.

Wildlands has entertainment for all ages whatever the weather. Choose from a myriad of indoor and outdoor activities including Zip ‘n’ Trek, Zip ‘n’ Trek Junior, Fun Walls, Archery, Bushcraft, Disc Golf, Yoga, Fairy Trails, Woodland Walks and more. Adventures for children aged 3-10 include Off Road Adventure – mini 4×4 jeep driving and Mini Diggers.

The Olive Tree Kitchen, drenched in natural light, provides you with a feast for the senses. From here, you can look out onto the ziplines and aerial trekking courses. Its nourishing menu champions locally sourced and home grown ingredients, including vegetables gathered from the Wildlands garden on site. pizza is cooked in front of you in a traditional Italian firebrick pizza oven which was handcrafted and imported from Naples. For a quick bite, the Wildlands Wagon serves coffees and treats.

Wildlands Zip ‘n’ Trek

The course soars 15 metres above the ground and stretches for over one kilometre, making it one of the most impressive in Ireland. Are you daring enough to try it? With four circuits of varying heights and levels of difficulty, there are options to suit everyone, from the adrenalin junkies to those who want to take a leisurely stroll through the treetops.

The longest zip line extends to almost 100 metres, offering an exhilarating sky ride through the woods, giving you spectacular views of Ballyquirke Lake along the way. There are over 40 rope, bridge and swing obstacles in total, with 10 zip lines and dual zip lines where you can double up for this unparalleled experience.

Zip ‘n’ Trek Juniors

The mini Tarzans and Janes can swing and explore in their very own stand-alone outdoor junior course. With over 20 obstacles and 2 zip lines, your little superheroes will have endless fun here. Watch as they test the limits of their curiosity and courage, and celebrate with them as they marvel in their own abilities to conquer each new task.
