About Wooly Farm

Scary Mary, Cathal & their family set up Wooly Ward’s Farm in 2011 when they saw the level of interest people and children had with farm animals. Now called Wooly Farm since late 2017, over previous years the Wooly team have put three mobile farms on the road, opened up their own farm for themed events and entertained thousands of people with their animal theatre and petting zoo.

The Wooly Farm ‘mobile farm’ has been specially designed to work in a normal garden/school setting. Mobile farm visits include a selection of animals from hamsters, gerbils, rabbits, guinea pigs, hens, chicks, goslings, ducks, turkeys, sheep and lambs, goats and pigs. For bigger events, you have the option of horses, llamas or even donkeys!.

Wooly Farm concentrate on bringing people and animals together using a hands-on interactive approach that’s fun and engaging, while getting everyone involved in a range of activities such as leading, feeding petting & grooming. These activities are designed to educate and encourage young and old alike to develop an understanding of the animals and their care.

Wooly Farm’s Themed events

Wooly Farm will open for three themed events each year. Come and visit one of Wooly Ward’s Farm’s Themed Events to see where all the animals live, travel on ‘Thomas the Tank Engine’ see lots of animals performing at the animal theatre, dare to walk over the Wonky Bridge to Scary Mary’s house & lots more.

The farm opens for the Easter Extravaganza in April, Teddy Bear’s Picnic in July and Halloween Spectacular in October. We combine education & entertainment together to give you a wonderful experience!

We always have new baby animals being born throughout the year, ranging from bunnies and hamsters to baby chicks. In the Spring the lambs, piglets and goats arrive.
