Sligo Riding Centre is approved by the Association of Irish Riding Establishments and has been operating for over 40 years.

Riding lessons are available for adults and children from age 7yrs, from beginners to competition level. Adult lessons take place in evenings from 7pm Monday – Wednesday and 1 to 1 lessons are also available during day time. Children’s lessons run from 4pm Monday to Thursday, 4.30pm Friday and earlier times on weekends.

There are lots of facilities at this established riding centre with stabling for up to 50 horses, indoor riding ring, outdoor menage, club house and equestrian shop. Full livery and half livery facilities are also available.

Sligo Riding Centre is located in Carrowmore, a renowned heritage area and home to collections of Megalithic tombs and burial chambers some dated to 3500 BC. Trekking is available in the area and beach riding can also be arranged.
