Private Upper Gardens

The upper gardens and formal walled garden are accessible twice daily at weekends by guided tour at 2pm and 4pm. Check web site for special event days where times may change.

Trains

Steam through Oakfield Park on the Difflin Lake Railway. A trip on one of three trains is the best way to see all the Lower Gardens. Trains regularly run on each day the park is open. One of the most authentic family attractions in Donegal and also available for groups and private parties!

Sculptures

Oakfield Park is host to a spectacular collection of garden sculptures, crafted by talented artists from wood, stone and metal. The sculptures are dotted around the Upper and Lower gardens for you to find as you make your way around the gardens.

Hedge Maze

Suitable for adults & kids although adult supervision is required. A great day out in Donegal. The maze is a must do family activity in Donegal suitable for both children and adults alike, working you way into the centre toward the imposing 10-metre-tall brick tower!

Playground

The perfect day out for all the family. A combination of natural play, the wooden play equipment, slides, the tunnel, the train and nature Dome with crafts, live exhibits and nature trails will keep your children entertained for the afternoon.
