Air Race
Inviting all pilots to soar, twist and spin with on this amazing stomach churning aerial adventure! Not for the faint hearted!.
Dinosaurs Alive
Immerse yourself in the Mesozoic era ‘the age of dinosaurs’ with this tail thrashing, roaring and clawing exhibition. This awe-inspiring, life like animatronic dinosaur spectacular features:-

Endeavour
Take a spin on “The Endeavour” with speeds as fast as 40km and reaching a height of 68feet, this ride is perfect for adrenaline junkies!
Extreme Climbing Wall
Challenge yourself on one of the many routes to the top of this extreme 21mtr climbing wall. Test your strength and agility while you get in touch with the inner mountaineer in all of us!
Honey Pot Bears
Enjoy more fun on this bear themed tea cup ride. Enjoy this gentle ride with your friends as you twist and turn 360°
Mr. Tayto’s Pony Rail
Saddle up for a fast paced trail ride on your very own pony. You can enjoy this adventure by yourself or with an adult.
Playground and Water Fun
Thrilling play areas featuring towers, slides, swings, climbing frames, mazes and rope bridges are situated throughout the park. Minimum Age: 6, Maximium Age: 12.
Play and splash on the giant chess board and leap from square to square dodging jets of water (swimsuit not required on play & splash areas).

Power Surge
Make way for “The Power Surge”. Get ready to be tossed and turned at great heights on this new thrill ride which spins you on both a horizontal & vertical axis.
Shot Tower
Be prepared to get strapped in and let the countdown begin as you shoot up 10 metres into the sky. Watch the ground get smaller until you reach the top and feel the exhilaration as you shoot down to the ground.
Steam Train Express
All aboard, sit back and relax on this traditional style steam train and enjoy the views and attractions in Eagle’s Nest. Suitable for the entire family!
Super Hero Training Wall
Perfect your powers, defy gravity and scale the 10 metre wall.
Tayto Factory Tour
Venture on this self-guided tour and see how the nation’s favourite crisps are made. Get an inside look at the factory through special viewing windows. You’re sure to learn some of Mr. Tayto’s much guarded secrets.

The Cú Chulainn Coaster
Ireland’s First rollercoaster and Europe’s largest wooden rollercoaster with an inversion opened on June 5th 2015. Ground was broken on the project on 10th of August 2014 and construction commenced on the 1st September 2014.
With a strong focus on mythological Irish history, the rollercoaster has been named after one of the great eternal heros of Irish history, Cú Chulainn. We’re delighted to announce that it will be called The Cú Chulainn Coaster. With the figure of the great Irish warrior emblazoned across the front of the Tayto Park rollercoaster Cú Chulainn’s role in Irish history will be front of mind for everyone who rides the coaster this Summer in Tayto Park.
The Grand Carousel
Climb onto one of our prancing horses or sit back and enjoy the ride in one of the Grand Carousel chariots!
The Rocking Tug
All aboard the Tayto Park Rocking Tug! Batten down the hatches and get ready for this swash-buckling adventure!
Viking Voyage at The Park
Please expect longer than usual queue times as this is a newly opened ride.Please NoteThe Viking Voyage Queue will close at 5.30pm daily in order to facilitate queues.
With 1.7 million litres of water, a Viking village, 5 replica Viking ships families can expect to feel the splash on the latest addition to Ireland’s favourite theme park and zoo. Over 10,000 tonnes of concrete and 500 tonnes of steel have gone into the construction of the ride so far, with staff learning and using building methods from the Viking age to create a truly authentic experience.
Some interesting Viking Voyage facts:
- Tayto Park have used Viking experts from Sweden and theming contractors who have worked in major worldwide theme parks and film sets including Disneyland and Game of Thrones.
- The construction team used Viking building methods including wattle fencing, Viking ships, currachs and thatch built in the methods from 1000 years ago.
- Over 60,000 man hours when complete.
- 1.7 million litres of water will be used to fill it once complete and over 5000 bundles of straw.
- They are building one of only a couple of round towers to be constructed in Ireland in the last 900 years.
- Over 5000 trees will be planted to recreate the Irish landscape from 1000 years ago.
- A man-made mountain sits 60ft above the ride and the boats pass through it 3 times.
Vortex Tunnel
Get ready for virtual, mystifying, turning, tilting, crazy experience like no other. Be prepared to lose you balance…don’t forget to hold on tight.
We recommend this attraction for children over 6 years of age and to be accompanied by an adult. Please do not enter if you have a heart condition, epilepsy or any serious medical condition. Pregnant women are advised against entering. High heels are not advised and all belongings must be securely fastened.

World of Raptors
Don’t miss our spectacular free flying bird of prey exhibit and discover some of the world’s magnificent and majestic birds.
Bigger, better and a first of its kind in Ireland, the team at Tayto Park have invested over €750,000 in a 450 open-air seating arena allowing visitors an intimate and up-close personal experience with these amazing animals!
Guaranteed to be an inspirational, exhilarating and magical journey into the wide and wonderful world of raptors. You’ll experience dynamic aerial displays featuring the world’s largest eagles and impressive vultures, the fastest and most cunning birds of prey, as well as our iconic and lovable owls.
The show is approximately 25 minutes. Check our Daily Event Boards for show times.
No Food or Drink permitted in the arena.
- No selfie sticks.
- Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
- Please make sure you arrive 15 minutes before the show to take your seats and to avoid disappointment as shows fill quickly.

Our zoo is home to a variety of taxa, from the largest of the big cats, the Amur tiger, to the illusive and stunning Ocelot. The zoo also has a growing primate collection which includes Squirrel monkey, Red-bellied tamarins and our newest arrivals the Geoldi’s monkey . Farmyard Friends
Don’t miss our delightful Farmyard Friends and petting area. You’ll find some very cute and curious rare farm animals including Ouessant Sheep, Pygmy Goats and alpacas.
Throughout the summer you can get even closer to our Farmyard Friends as we open up our petting area to our visitors. A treat not to be missed and suitable for children of all ages!
