Situated in the North West of Ireland, the Atlantic coastline is diverse and powerful and is a fitting start point for the Wild Atlantic Way – a 2,500km (1,500miles) coastal tourist route stretching from Malin Head in County Donegal to Kinsale in County Cork.

Moving inland from the coast, a visit to Glenveagh National Park with its beautiful wilderness area covering 16,000 hectares of the Derryveagh Mountains is a must. Near the edge of the park, the Glenveagh Visitor Centre welcomes people from all over the world who come to enjoy the stunning scenery, learn about the local environment, its walking trails and numerous events throughout the year.
