Arigna Mining Experience is a Visitor Centre and underground mine tour and mine exhibition located just outside the town of Carrick On Shannon in Roscommon. The underground tour lasts approximately 45 minutes with an knowledgeable ex mine worker.
Aer Arannn Islands flights operate a daily tour service of the Aran Islands and Cliffs of Moher. Take off from Aer Arann Connemara airstrip and fly out over Galway bay, across the 3 Aran Islands and then along the Cliffs of Moher. Spectacular!

Glendeer Pet Farm is an award winning pet farm set on 12 acres just outside Athlone town in the Irish midlands. Home to over 50 species of animals and birds, includes play areas and 6 acres of natural outdoor walks. Great for kids and school groups.
Stonehall Visitor Farm is a large family orientated pet farm located near Kilcornan Co Limerick. Hugely popular with school tours and families. Enjoy large indoor play areas, picnic area and tea rooms and nature trails and walks.
Turoe Pet farm is a superb day out in Galway consisting of a working pet farm and what’s possibly Ireland’s largest inflatable city!. A massive indoor inflatable area including slides, climbing and lots more. A definite thumbs up from the kids!
The award winning Westport House is a treasure trove of fun activities for adults and kids. Mam and Dad can enjoy the house and gardens while the kids can enjoy the Pirate Adventure Park. Lots to do and see, like wet zorbing (pic opposite).
Zipit Forest Adventures is located in Lough Key Roscommon and is an outdoor forest adventure, with zip wires, suspended climbing obstacles and swings. DayOut.ie has visited this one and it’s an absolute blast!. Allow 4-5 hours to get around the whole lot but a hugely entertaining day out and highly recommended by us!

Cliffs of Moher, Co Clare
Designated UNESCO Geo Park, the spectacular Cliffs of Moher are 214m high at the highest point and span along 8 kilometres over the Atlantic Ocean on the western seaboard of County Clare. Aran Islands, Co Galway
Travel back in time by visiting the Aran Islands situated out in Galway Bay on the west coast of Ireland. Made up of 3 islands called Inis Mór (Big Island), Inis Meáin (Middle island) and Inis Oírr (East island).
