The Dublin Bay area is of immense maritime archaeological importance. Known for its shallow waters and obscure sand banks, the area was the scene of many shipwrecks over the past century. Did you know? A ship called the RMS Leinster was torpedoed by a German submarine in 1918, about 4 miles off the coast of Dublin.

Sights and Activities

Enjoy the company of friendly guides who will introduce you to many landmarks, islands and features along the cruise. The bay is almost 10km wide and inhabitants include grey seals, large colonies of sea birds like puffins, gulls and guillemots and fish species including mackerel, wrasse, dabs, pollack, eels and dogfish. Bottle nose dolphins also visit the bay at intervals and will often swim close by passing vessels.
