Super family day out this March at the Dublin Bay Prawn Festival Howth. A delight for fish food lovers as Howth’s many award winning restaurants serve your favourite prawn dishes in bite-sized portions at the food village, as well as a variety of other miniature foodie dishes. It’s not all about sea food but as the name suggests, the festival is heavily centred on this theme.

Familes can enjoy a fun day out with lots to see and do around the harbour. There’s a small children’s playground near Howth Yacht club and there’ll be other attractions and entertainment too. The Howth Peninsula, with its picturesque harbour, elevated harbour wall walk, lighthouses, martello towers and portal tomb, offers magnificent panoramas over Dublin Bay.

Howth is a bustling fishing village, located on the Eastern most coastal point in Dublin. It’s the last stop on the North bound Dart line and the journey from Dublin city centre is approx. 30-40 minutes. Lots of stylish pubs and the coastal location plays a large part in grub menus.

In addition to a market, local foods, fish filleting & fishery skills, demos and a , the food village will also include exciting cooking demonstrations for the budding cooks out there!.
