FairyHouse Racecourse

Fairyhouse Racecourse is one of Ireland’s premier horse racing venues. Situated in the parish of Ratoath in County Meath. It is the home of the BoyleSports Irish Grand National. The first race meet was held in 1848. In 1870, the first Irish Grand National steeplechase was held here.

Many of the greats have graced the track including Arkle, Desert Orchid, Brown Lad, Flying Bolt to modern day heroes such as Hurricane Fly, Don Cossack and Annie Power.

The racetrack itself is a one-mile and 6.5 furlong right-handed circuit, with a 2.5 furlong straight and a slight uphill finish.

Home to the prestigious Irish Grand National and a mainstay in Irish society and history, Fairyhouse Racecourse have been welcoming people through our doors since 1848. A day at the races is ideal for a fun filled family day out, birthday celebrations, company social events, entertaining clients or even just to catch up with old friends and maybe make some new ones.

If you have yet to experience the exhilaration or race day in full swing, you really are missing out. Feel your pulse beat faster, hear you heart beat louder as the horses thunder down the famous Fairyhouse home straight to the roar of the crowds.
