Fishing: Fly & Bait
Open every day from 9.00am until dusk with no time limit on the daily ticket. The main fishing lake at Rathbeggan is stocked regularly with Rainbow Trout and rods and equipment are available for hire. Great for time with the kids and educational too!

Fun Valley
For the under 12s it’s a paradise of fun and games with bouncy castles, trampolines and a giant inflatable slide. We cater for Birthday Parties, School Tours and even giant company picnics! Why not come with your family for a picnic day out and enjoy open air walks and the beautiful Meath countryside.

High Kings Tower
Launched in 2012, this has proved to be a hugely popular with both children and adults! Use the Climbing Wall, Abseiling Wall, zoom across the lake on the Zip Line or why not try all three!

Team Building Workshops for Schools, Corporate Groups, Clubs and Associations
Rathbeggan Lakes have created mentally and physically challenging team tasks that require co-operation and excellent communication from a team. Tasks and puzzles will require wits, ability to think outside of the box, team work, leadership and communication to deliver the right solutions including Jacobs Ladder, All Aboard & Leap of Faith.

Airsoft
Airsoft is the latest craze in safe, active battle play for kids over 12. Rathbeggan provide equipment, full instruction and marshalling. Several different battle zones are available within the complex, offering you everything from ‘Patrol Ambush’ to ‘Find the Sniper’. Whether you’re an expert or a recruit, you’ll really enjoy your day out at Rathbeggan Airsoft (on weekends only with half and full day options available)

The Fairy Garden is situated over the bridge from the main lakes area beside our beautiful award winning Allotments & Gardens Area, just a few minutes walk from the main entrance.

Make a wish on the Wishing Tree, leave your soother for Síog the Soother Fairy, take part in a fairy craft workshop, have fun in the Dragons Den Tree House,  browse in our new Away with the Fairies Gift Shop, take a stroll around our Allotment Gardens & Orchard or just simply chill out!

Bring a picnic or just relax and have a tea/coffee in chilled out, peaceful surroundings – and the best news is that it is included in your park admission!

Heritage Park
Take the guided tour or get more involved with a choice of Catch and Cook, Wattle and Daub or Stone Age Shelter. There’s something for every age group. From Stone Age settlements right through to early Christian times, learn how our predecessors lived their lives, protected and fed their families.

Historical replicas include an ogham stone, a stone-age camp, a Crannog, standing Stone Circle, a Passage Grave, a Dolmen, a Bog Road, a Fullacht Fiadh, a Souterrain, a Ringfort, a Lia Fáil, a Norman Fort and Motte, an Island Monastery, a Holy Well, a Nature trail and a reconstruction of an Archaeological Dig.

Our Heritage Park is now open daily to the public as part of park admission,. Guided tours are for group bookings only.

Award Winning Allotments
Established in March 2008 these award winning working allotments have already proved extremely popular. Based on a one year renewable licence, each plot gives about 120 square metres of growing space. Plenty for an average family who want to experience the rewards of “growing your own!”

Farmyard Manure is free; Bark mulch is also provided without charge, and a full range of netting, ground cover, stakes and other gardening essentials are on sale in The Allotment Shop.
