Strokestown Park

Strokestown Park is a unique historic property in Co. Roscommon in the west of Ireland with many layers of history. This evocative estate is a capsule in time with many features: an uncommon galleried kitchen; elegant vaulted stables; a six-acre walled garden; mausoleum; bridge; gates; and lodge.

Strokestown Park House and the National Famine Museum are open seven days a week. In spring/summer it is open from 17th March to 31st October from 10:30am – 5:30pm with daily tours at 12:00pm, 2:30pm and 4:00pm.  In autumn/winter (1st November to 16th March) the House is open from 10:30am – 4pm with tours  at 2.00pm during these months.  Produce from the original working gardens are grown by volunteers and used in the Strokestown Park Café. There is ample parking and coaches are very welcome.
